Lee Started Judo Training in 1968 at a Dojo in Farnham in Surrey, he then moved on to Wado-Ryu Karate with Sensei Barry Wilkinson, and trained with Sensei Tatsuo Suzuki, and even had the honor to train with Grand Master Hinori Otsuka founder of Wado Ryu.
After gaining his 1st Kyu, Lee changed styles and started studying Uechi – Ryu Karate under Sensei Nigel Coole (who had been taught by Master Kanei Uechi himself), when Nigel moved out of the UK, Lee then became a student of Sensei Terry Daly in London.
Other club members included Dr Wayne Otto OBE (who went on to become World Karate Champion many times over and now manages the England team taking over from Ticky Donovan.) Lee has also trained with Sensei Dave Scott, Sensei Paul Natzyl, and Sensei Mick Pappas.
In 2005 Lee started training in Tomiki Aikido at the Thanet Judo Kwai under Sensei Dick Todd and has trained consistently since, during this time Lee has had the opportunity to learn from and train with, Sensei Lesley Hepden, Sensei Harvey Goodman, Sensei Bob Jones and Sensei Paul Wildish, he has also had the honor of training with Sensei Senta Yamada (a student of Tomiki) shortly before his death in 2010.
